About the photographer
Vahid Cullsberg is a professional photographer who is based in Sweden, and exclusively uses analog cameras such as the Leica m3 and the Hasselblad 500c. He uses all kinds of films, mostly 35mm and 120-films and prefers above all the tonality of the Kodak-films. His imaging background involves:
1 year Documentary Photography at the University in Umeå.
1 year Technical Photography at Inraci in Brussels, Belgium.
1 year Fotolinjen at Kulturuma in Stockholm, Sweden
1 year Higher Photography Studies at Kulturama in Stockholm, Sweden.
He has taught photography in the arctic regions of Sweden involving; asylum seeking teenagers from countries afar, local youths and seniors as a means of bringing together the community through photography.
He has worked at the Audio Visual Department at the Bahá'í World Centre in Haifa, Israel as the official photographer and as a dark room technician at the International Bahá'í Photo Archive.
He is currently looking into personal projects that will soon be displayed here.
